Ensure maximum generator performance in freezing conditions.  This Cold Weather Kit consists of a battery warmer that has a thermostat built in to the battery wrap.  When temperatures fall below an acceptable level, the thermostat activates the battery warmer maintaining  optimum battery temperature for the best generator starting.

Recommended for regions where the temperature regularly falls below 32 degrees (F).

• Not necessary for use with AGM-style batteries
• Remove old components before installing the new
• When installing any cold weather kit, it is required that the oil be replaced with 5W-30 synthetic
• Also consider pairing with model 7102 oil heater cold weather accessory
