Plated steel dasher also works as an effective flame arrester to reduce the risk of fire flashback. The hinged cover minimizes evaporation losses and the protected rim reduces the possibility of a hand injury. Cans are made of sturdy 24-gauge steel with a tough powder-coat finish.
